1. MEAL2GO GENERAL TERMS
1.1 Meal2Go.com provides customer with meals by linking them with our network of food retailers/ delivery providers across the UK at a click on our website. The delivery provider refers to the restaurant/takeaway/delivery shop from which you order your food through the Meal2Go.com website.
1.2 As a customer, you are entitled to leave your rating and reviews on the website for your experience ordering from a food retailer, this will inspire the restaurant to compete with each other to create a better experience for the customer and maintain its reputation, at the same time the rating and reviews can be as a reference for other customers.
1.3 Users are prohibited from making false ("hoax") delivery requests through our website. The use of cookies may be used to monitor I.P. addresses as stated in our privacy policy in order to blacklist any computers which Meal2Go.com suspects of being used to commit false delivery requests. Meal2Go.com reserves the right to seek compensation through legal action for any losses incurred as the result of hoax delivery requests and will prosecute to the full extent of the law. This right also applies to anyone using the Meal2Go.com offers 0800 Free-Phone number for any inquiries. Calls may be recorded and monitored for security purposes.
1.4 Meal2Go.com Ltd accepts no liability for damages or losses incurred by the use or inability use this or affiliated websites.
1.5 Meal2Go.com reserves the right to cancel any delivery order or customer account, and refuse any special offer or promotion or request for amendments to orders without reason or prior consent.
1.6 It is the responsibility of the user/visitor/customer to ensure that delivery address details, telephone numbers are provided correctly for the delivery driver to locate the address in adequate time. In the event that your address cannot be found and your phone number is unreachable, undelivered deliveries will be charged at full cost and will not be refunded.

2. MEAL2GO LIABILITY

However, there may be sudden changes in regards to the opening hours, delivery times, accepted payments, prices or any other relevant information by the individual takeaways without prior notice. Meal2go.com will not accept any liability for losses or damages incurred resulting from either correct or incorrect labelling of items displayed on the webiste. Meal2go.com reserves the right to change and update any information on the website without prior notice.
2.2 Meal2Go.com provides a platform for individual shop owners to market online and it is their responsibility to ensure information is accurate and up to date at all time. Meal2Go takes no responsibility for food or other item's availability, price discrepancies or inaccuracies, or details pertaining to shop opening hours and individual shop's terms and conditions of service.
2.3 Please note that when you are agreeing to place an order with a food provider listed on Meal2go.com, the legal contract for the purchase and supply of food and beverages is between you and the food provider establishment that you place your order with. Meal2go is not reliable for any satisfactory/ or unsatisfactory food quality and service that you receive from the food provider, neither responsible for the estimated delivery or collection time stated on the website. These disclaimers do not affect your statutory rights against the Delivery Restaurants.
2.4 We are NOT responsible for the quality of food received through our delivery providers or affiliate websites. Any complaint, request, or issue arising from the quality of food ordered, or any other issue regarding delivery time, are not to be directed to Meal2Go.com, however we can only assist you on how to resolve the matter by creating a link for you/ or communicate to the provider on your behalf.
2.5 Please note that any complaint must be lodged with our customer advisor team within 24 hours of placing the order in order for us to assist you with the problem. Any complaints arise after 24 hours of placing the order will have to dealt directly with the food provider by the customer on their own.
2.6 It is advisable that if the user/ customer who are allergic to any special food item or on any strict dietary, the user/customer is responsible to seek accurate assurance by contacting the restaurant owner directly to confirm the status of the item . Special items which are displayed as vegetarian, halal, spicy, containing nuts or otherwise described by the helpful descriptions on the website may not always be accurate. It is the responsibility of the delivery provider and not Meal2Go.com to ensure that every care is taken to ensure the food matches its helpful description.
2.7 Meal2go Website is available to the visitors/customers 24 hours a day, however Meal2go is not liable if the website is temporarily unavailable at any time without prior notice.
2.8 Meal2Go reserves the right to change the pointing/affiliate system scheme at any time with or without advanced notice.
3. SUSPENSION
3.1 Meal2go.com does not tolerate any user/visitor on the website who uses false information to jeapodise the referral and abuse our point awarding system in this manner. With our dedicated security system, it is extremely difficult to manipulate data. If someone is caught manipulating or interfering with pointing system, we reserve the right to forfeit all earnings of points. Manipulating or interfering act can be any of the following
- Interfering with our system to prevent optimum security and/or reliability.
- Creating any type of crawler, boot or any kind of program to automate the process of clicking or ordering.
- Any malicious act that may, in any way, interfere with our system.
3.2 Meal2go reserves the right to suspend your access to the website without any notice or ban your account and block access to our website if we feel that you are breaching the terms or misusing the website for the wrong purposes stated on in this Terms and Conditions.
4. PAYMENT
4.1 In any case that you are unsatisfied with the quality of the food or services provided by the food provider on our website, Meal2go does not issue any refund on behalf of the food provider. We are not liable for any compensation nor any refund sought to any complaint. Any refund or compensation need to be dealt directly with the food provider. Meal2go only acknowledges your complaint and act as a platform informing the shop provider about the matter. All decisions on how to resolve the complaint lies between you and your food provider.
4.2 If you have placed an order and made your payment with card online via Meal2go Website, you will not be able to cancel the order if the restaurant has already started preparing your food, nor you will be entitled to a refund. 4.3 If you have made your order and select to pay with cash on delivery, you will need to contact Meal2go immediately to cancel the order if you have changed plans. We then can inform the food provider about your cancellation to prevent waste.
4.4 Any refund made by card payment on our website will take up to 3-5 working days. Alternatively, a full refund can be issued in points immediately for instant use to place a new order if needed.
5. PROMOTIONAL DISCOUNTS/ COMPETITIONS TERMS AND CONDITIONS
5.1 Any promotional discounts offered by Meal2go.com on leaflets, tickets, printed vouchers or any other promotional materials or mediums are binded to the general terms and conditons that are set by MealOrder Ltd.
5.2 Any promotional discounts are promoted for ONE USE per customer and are subject to availability and change at any time without prior notice. These offers cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer(s).
5.3 Meal2go reserves the right to withdraw any offer/discount or alter the offer/discount terms and conditions at any time without prior notice.
5.4 Competitions are open to UK residents aged 16 or over except employees of the promoter, their families, agents or anyone professionally connected with the promoter.
5.5 Individual competition will be subject to its own terms and conditions that are set, modified and will be specified accordingly to each competition.
5.6 By participating in this promotion you agree to receive email marketing and promotional material from Meal2Go.
6. MEAL2GO POINT SYSTEM
6.1 Meal2go reserves the right to amend and withdraw the point system at anytime without notice.
6.2 Only orders placed directly through www.meal2go.com will be subject the earn points using the point system.
6.3 The number of points earn may vary in placing orders with different food providers depending on the agreement between Meal2go and the food providers.
6.4 Please note earned points will be excluded from your account if order is cancelled or refunded.
6.5 It may take up to 48 hours to calculate referral earning and showing in your account.
6.6 Accumulating points by the multiplier of different types of holder account holder do not carry the purpose of account upgrades. Account upgrade is based on the amount of orders placed and the amount that a customer spent to accumulate points.
